Are you TRIPainting?

Have you captured a favorite trip memory through a painting?

Ever since Collin and I returned from our honeymoon in Italy almost 2 years ago, we wanted a painting from our vacation. Our favorite city was Rome (it's amazing!), and Collin was especially fond of the The Colosseum. We both agreed that this would be the perfect subject for the piece, and FINALLY after almost two years, we commissioned one of our favorite local artists, Jackie Ellens (owner of Southern Breeze Gallery), to do the painting. It turned out fabulous, and we will cherish the piece forever!

So, have you done your "TRIPainting" yet? If so, then I'm sure you will agree that it was worth every penny! If not, then I highly recommend you make the investment. If you don't think it's in your budget, then try printing your favorite photograph on an extra-large canvas and have it framed or search your local artist database and find someone who may be looking to make themselves known in your area and whose fee may be affordable. You won't regret it - I promise!
